The company said the investment will support expansion of its products and technology. Its platform provides institutional trading and settlement for physical uranium, using digital warehouse receipts backed by material held at accredited North American storage facilities.

According to its product documentation, each receipt represents one pound of uranium. Eligible participants include producers, utilities, and financial institutions, which must complete customer and business checks.

The platform connects to existing institutional trading systems through prime brokers and trading interfaces. Uranium Digital identifies Anchorage Digital Bank as custodian of the digital warehouse receipts.

    LO:TECH raises $12 million for U.S. expansion

London-based LO:TECH announced a $12 million Series A on Nov. 2, led by MMC Ventures. Existing investors Faction and 13 Books Capital participated alongside Atka.

The company will use the funding to expand into the U.S. and Asia-Pacific, including New York and Singapore, and develop its institutional execution services.

LO:TECH launched those execution services alongside the funding announcement. Its business spans liquidity provision, market data and trade execution across digital assets, traditional markets and prediction markets.

The firm said it serves more than 50 institutional clients. Its U.S. plans include exploring licenses, while it intends to seek regulatory authorization in the markets it enters.
